Call for Poems: PoemCity 2018

The Kellogg-Hubbard Library invites Vermont poets–professional or amateur–to submit their original poems for PoemCity 2018, a city-wide event that displays poetry on local business storefronts as a way to celebrate National Poetry Month. Chosen poems will appear throughout the downtown Montpelier for the month of April 2018.
1. Deadline: February 1, 2018
2. Please send 1 to 3 poems as MS Word attachments.
Poems must be submitted as separate documents but in one account.
3. Each poem must not exceed 24 lines.

Winter Book Sale at Kellogg-Hubbard Library

The best selection of books for yourself or to give as gifts. Books are arranged by category. Hard covers are $2, soft covers are $1 and mass market paperbacks are 50 cents. This sale continues until January 20, 2018. Open during library hours.

    Bethel First Friday Flicks - Free Family Movie

    134 S Main St, Bethel, VT 05032, USA
    Free family movie at the Bethel Town Hall on the first Friday of every month. All are welcome. Bring a blanket or beanbag if you want to get comfy (regular chairs available too).
    Visit our website or Facebook event for each month’s movie. Popcorn & drinks for sale; donations gladly accepted to cover movie cost. Hosted by the Bethel Revitalization Initiative.
