Call for Poems: PoemCity 2018

The Kellogg-Hubbard Library invites Vermont poets–professional or amateur–to submit their original poems for PoemCity 2018, a city-wide event that displays poetry on local business storefronts as a way to celebrate National Poetry Month. Chosen poems will appear throughout the downtown Montpelier for the month of April 2018.
1. Deadline: February 1, 2018
2. Please send 1 to 3 poems as MS Word attachments.
Poems must be submitted as separate documents but in one account.
3. Each poem must not exceed 24 lines.

Winter Book Sale at Kellogg-Hubbard Library

The best selection of books for yourself or to give as gifts. Books are arranged by category. Hard covers are $2, soft covers are $1 and mass market paperbacks are 50 cents. This sale continues until January 20, 2018. Open during library hours.

    We would like our Veterans to join us for a Free Luncheon on November 10th at the Twin Valley Senior Center 4583 US Route 2 East Montpelier, VT 05651

    We hope you will come and share your service experience. The Luncheon is our way of saying “Thank You For Your Service.”

    Lunch at 12:15pm, $6.00 for people under 60 and $5.00 for 60 and up. No one is ever turned away.
