600 Granger Rd, Berlin, VT, United States

With Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice

We welcome you to drop in whenever you may need. The Bereavement/Grief Support Group is open to anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one. There is no fee.

The group focuses on learning together about coping with grief, with the intention of receiving and offering support. The group is informal and includes sharing of personal grief experiences. Each session is accompanied by relevant handouts, books and videos that can be borrowed for review at home.

Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for exploration of the changes brought to our lives by the death of a loved one. We encourage participants to attend as many sessions as possible. Groups meet in eight-session blocks.

Any sharing that takes place in the group is to be kept within the group; no individual will criticize or make public judgments about the responses of another member of the group; and all members will be invited and given the opportunity to speak in the group if they choose.

    Group 1: Wednesday mornings, 10—11:30 a.m.

If you have questions about these support groups, contact Virginia Fry or Jean Semprebon at 802-223-1878.
