Honey Lets Go Home Theater Presents: Dignity Milk

A 45-minute performance with a local cast of 12. Characters include Mother Earth, an Old Vermont Farmer, the EPA, Uncle Fatso himself and The Too Good To Be True University. “Migrant milkers live without dignity in fear of deportation”, says Director Peter Schumann. “Consequently, the consumer product milk is infested with the infamous fear poison. This situation can and must be changed by the consumer, demanding milk that is fearlessly produced under dignified working conditions.”

    cantastoria

With paintings by Peter Schumann and text by Mahmoud Darwish, national poet of Palestine. Two fiddles and a chorus of Lubberland dancers interact with Darwish’s words on displacement, fragmentation and belonging.

    Post-Apocalypse For ¾ Empire

Based on a series of intricate woodcuts. Alternating between individual narration and the group response, the piece grapples with our current political situation.

    Post-Apocalypse For ¾ Empire

Based on a series of intricate woodcuts. Alternating between individual narration and the group response, the piece grapples with our current political situation.

Suggested donation $10, no one turned away for lack of funds. All events take place at the Bread and Puppet Farm, 753 Heights Rd. (Route 122), Glover VT. For more information visit www.breadandpuppet.org.
