Oct. 1 : Fall foliage art exhibit, craft fair of local creative craftspeople, local farmers vegetables & homemade soups, sandwiches & pies!  Now in its 42nd year, this popular event features paintings of Bessie, primitive artist from the early 1900’s, whose numerous works have been compared to Granma Moses.  Located at South Woodbury Church on Route 14: 10:30 to 4 except Sun., 11 to 3.

    The Royal Frog Ballet returns to Feast and Field Market this fall with their Surrealist Cabaret, a glittering, contemplative, and hilarious performance set in the hills and dells of Barnard at sunset. The outdoor performance and installation event walks the audience through farm landscape where they encounter a surreal collection of short stories, dance, installation pieces, and roving characters that explore and celebrate themes of season, place, and what it means to be human in these times. It is a folky, comedic, and deeply thought-provoking evening for all ages.

    Outdoor performances of The Surrealist Cabaret will take place at Feast and Field Market in Barnard, VT, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday September 29th, 30th, and October 1st. The tour continues to Park Hill Orchard in Easthampton, MA Friday through Sunday on October 13, 14, 15, and October 20, 21, 22. All performances begin promptly at 5:00 pm. Please arrive early.

At River Rock School – Leaf Peeper Poetry, Americana-roots and folk duo Dana and Sue Robinson will be playing throughout the evening, art by Liz Le Serviget and Susan Aranoff will grace our spaces, and T.W.Wood Gallery will be presenting works from their permanent collection of T.W.Wood drawings. Free and open to the public.

    Join us for the Gallery’s Celebrate Art Fall Gala! The Gala begins with Andy Christiansen on the piano, global soul food by the Bon Temps Gourmet (AKA Greg & Gretchen), art action stations including mask decorating, fun selfies and printmaking cards, a great silent auction, beer and wine, followed by dancing with the amazing CBT Band.

    The Fall Gala silent auction will include artwork by August Burns, Anne Davis, Philip Hagopian, Andrew Kline, Andria Lovejoy, Daniel Neary, Daniel Pattullo & Michael Straus.Take home some fabulous art! The auction will include: portraits, photography, landscape and more! The auction will include many other offerings plus gift certificates.
