The Auto Heaney exhibit opens Today (May 4) at Hunger Mountain Coop on 623 Stone Cutters Way in Montpelier. Auto Heaney is the signature of local artist Garrett Heaney who currently works at the Coop and proofreads and writes for The Bridge. Rumor has it that Heaney is in talks with local shop-owner Hayden Durkee who opened Downtown T’s in the former “Splash” storefront (between the pocket park and Charlie O’s) about printing his designs on high quality tees from the shop which opened earlier this week. May is a huge month for the arts in central Vermont, with Art Walk commencing tomorrow (Friday, May 6). Heaney’s show will hang throughout the month of May. More of his work can be viewed on his website: www.autoheaney.com.
