Fran lives in East Montpelier, Vermont, with her husband, Peter, balancing the tending of goats, garden and hearth, and being a grandmother with work as a wilderness quest guide (Vermont Wilderness Rites), an ontological life coach, and an organizational consultant. In all aspects of her life and work, Fran has come to trust that the power, the beauty, and the authenticity of going out on the land and listening deeply will bring people what they need to live their lives with deeper passion, meaning and purpose.
Fran joined the Quilting Hour on WGDR, a women’s collective radio show, in January 2105. After completing the programmer training, she was invited to join the Quilting Hour. Attending yet another memorial service for a woman in the community, Fran realized how little she knew about the lives of the women she knew. The focus of her radio show, The Women We Become, celebrates the lives of women 70 and older in our community and from around the country.
