Naturalist and photographer Josh Blouin in Yosemite

Photographer Josh Blouin, a wildlife seasonal technician, was born and raised in Berlin. He submittedphotographs to The Bridge he took while studying the bats and black bears of northern Yosemite. He also gave us photographs of his home state, Vermont, displayed here. He has spent field seasons in other places studying bears, wolves, lynx and trout. Blouin has a bachelor of science degree in wildlife biology from the University of Vermont. He minored in environmental studies.

“I hope to continue working in amazingly beautiful places, while studying such interesting critters … My ultimate goal is to love what I do, while making a difference, even if small, in the well-being of the animals we share this land with,” Blouin said.
